Paylaterr Is Not a Lender
Paylaterr is not a lender and does not make loans or credit decisions. Paylaterr doesn't decide who is approved, doesn't set loan amounts, rates, fees, or repayment terms, and doesn't fund or service loans.
Paylaterr also doesn't offer buy now, pay later plans or bill installment plans, and doesn't pay bills on anyone's behalf. Our pages about those products are educational.
How Loan Requests Work
There's no loan request or application on this website today. Nothing on Paylaterr is an application for credit or an offer of credit, and using the site doesn't involve a credit check. The amount tool on our pages only helps you explore options; it doesn't submit anything.
How Loan Requests Work
Paylaterr connects people interested in a personal loan with lending partners through its Apply page. You can send a request today. Here is how it works:
- Lenders make the decisions. Any application and any offer are subject to the participating lender's own criteria and review, which may include your credit history, income, debts, and state of residence.
- Approval isn't guaranteed. Submitting a request doesn't guarantee that you'll be connected with a lender, receive an offer, or be approved.
- We don't promise multiple offers. Paylaterr doesn't guarantee a match with any lender, and doesn't promise that you'll receive more than one offer or offers to compare.
- Rates and terms come from the lender. The amount, APR, fees, repayment term, and any other terms depend on the actual offer a lender makes. Review the lender's disclosures, including the APR and total cost, before you accept.
- Funding isn't guaranteed. Whether and when money is deposited depends on the lender, your bank, and completing the lender's requirements.
- Availability varies. Loan amounts, terms, and products aren't available in every state or to every applicant. Our focus on amounts from $200 to $5,000 describes what our guides cover, not what a lender will offer you.
- Lenders may check your credit. A lender may use a soft or hard credit inquiry. A hard inquiry can affect your credit score. Ask the lender before you apply.
How Paylaterr Makes Money
Paylaterr may receive compensation from lending partners when applicable, for example when a request is passed to a partner or a loan is made. Paylaterr doesn't charge you to use the website.
Compensation doesn't change what our guides say. Lending partners don't write or approve our content, and we don't accept payment to describe a product more favorably. See our editorial policy.
Examples and Cost Calculations
Cost examples on Paylaterr are hypothetical. They show their assumptions (amount, APR, and term) and are meant to show how costs work, not to predict an offer. Real APRs, fees, and payments depend on the lender and your situation.
Military Borrowers
Active-duty service members and their covered dependents have additional protections under the federal Military Lending Act, including a 36% cap on the Military Annual Percentage Rate for many types of consumer credit. The CFPB explains these rights (opens in a new tab).
Not Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice
Our content is general information. It isn't financial, legal, or tax advice and doesn't account for your circumstances. Laws and programs vary by state and change over time; confirm details with the lender, provider, or agency, and consider a nonprofit credit counselor or another qualified professional for advice about your situation.
Independence
Paylaterr at paylaterrapp.com is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or the app of any bill payment or buy now, pay later company, including any business using a similar name. Companies named on our pages are mentioned as examples only; naming a company isn't an endorsement, and it doesn't mean the company has a relationship with Paylaterr.
Changes to These Disclosures
We'll update this page before you submit a request and whenever our business arrangements change. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
